The Rector’s Summit for Vision and Planning (RSVP) is a professional development program for rectors (head pastors of congregations). Any Anglican Church in North America rector, no matter their career-point, can attend these 4-day summits that address key domains of every pastor’s vocation. For example, an RSVP may focus on: preaching in the Anglican tradition, soul care in the midst of ministry, creating a culture of generosity, how to plant a church and more.
Teaching is from experienced clergy/leaders combined with reflective learning in the fellowship of colleagues. Clergy are given the opportunity to connect with mentors and fellow clergy who are further along in their careers and form Ministry Skills cohorts. RSVP also encourages participants to engage a coach. There are approximately 30-35 participants at each RSVP.
