We are Anglican followers of Jesus Christ seeking to practice law as Jesus would if he were in our shoes. As Chancellors (Anglican lawyers) of the Province, Dioceses and local congregations, we have a special interest in the legal challenges facing the Church and its mission in today’s increasingly secular culture. We come together to discuss these challenges, share ideas, resources and best practices, and to support and pray for each other. We gather annually at the annual Provincial meetings of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), for discussion and CLE at the Annual meeting of the Christian Legal Society and otherwise as needed by video. Our Network is open to non-lawyers (e.g. Bishops, Canons to the Ordinary and others) who share our interests and responsibilities within the Church.

“Best practices in Ecclesiastical Discipline Cases: from investigation to post-trial sentencing and appeal.” This meeting of Chancellors in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) took place June 18 at the Provincial Assembly of the ACNA and was led by the Rev. Canon Phil Ashey.

The Anglican Lawyers Network next Meeting at the Christian Legal Society National Conference Thursday October 31, 12:00-5:30pm Westin Chicago Michigan Avenue. Find more information here.
