Thanks to many generous donors, the American Anglican Council sent over $10,000 to the Anglican Church of Uganda during September and October for famine relief. With this aid and help from other organizations, the Church of Uganda was able to feed over 7,600 starving people in over 900 Ugandan households.

The first to receive aid were those considered extremely vulnerable, such as those living with HIV and AIDS, orphans and children. These images are of those in need receiving aid in Katakwi District, Uganda.  The American Anglican Council would like to thank all who gave to this worthy cause.
