One of the Anglican Communion's oldest missionary societies, the United Society for the Propogation of the Gospel, has changed its name. In an attempt to be more "inclusive" the group has dropped "propagation" and "gospel" for the name "Us". What's wrong with a little re-branding in the name of inclusivity? Phil Ashey says that when the re-branding involves changing the Gospel of Jesus Christ there are a lot of things wrong.
Anglican Perspective is a weekly 2-minute teaching video produced by the American Anglican Council. Each week, the Rev. Canon Phil Ashey, AAC Chief Operating Officer, looks at current events from an orthodox, biblical Anglican perspective.
