  • Communique Compliance Reports

In February, 2007, Anglican Communion leaders issued a communique from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The communique asked The Episcopal Church (TEC) House of Bishops to agree to not authorise any "Rite of Blessing for same-sex unions" and confirm that TEC would not elect another non-celibate homosexual bishop. They had until September, 2007 to respond. The AAC tracked the level of compliance with these requests and published its findings in its Communique Compliance Reports.
